    Maria has been trained in various different treatment models that are trauma informed, solution focused and client-centered. Although she enjoy working with a wide range of individuals, she specialize in working with families and couples to address breakdowns in communication and strengthening relationships. It has been my experience that as individuals, we do not have to have all the answers. However, what we do need at times is a brave space that allows for exploration of our thoughts and emotions- while being met with empathy, understanding and hope.

A broad range of life’s lessons has reignited her purpose to be of service and help others find their own strength. Shannon is a graduate from Salem State University and works as a clinical social worker. Her experience includes crisis management and advocating for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault within the legal context. Although she enjoys working with a wide range of individuals, she specializes in complex trauma, addiction, and codependency.
